Fine Art

Cathy Sacco creates paintings and drawings that evoke mystery, luminous beauty, and reflection. She writes about and explores the metaphors between nature and life. Working primarily in mediums such as oil, pastel, charcoal and photography, her landscape and still life work vary in explosions of color, as well as in more subtle color and charcoal renderings.

Her artwork can be found in many private collections, and at Mica in downtown Cincinnati. She has exhibited in collections and juried group shows such as The Christ Hospital, The Cinergy Foundation, The YWCA, the Beringer Crawford Museum, Secret Artworks Top 100, Red Tree Gallery, ADC Gallery, Art at the X: Celebrating Women, and Gallery One-One, to name a few. Cathy has studied with M.K. Hurley, Greg Storer, Cole Carothers, and Michael Scott, as well as at Villa Nova University, The Cincinnati Art Academy, the Provincetown Art and Writing Workshop, and Arrowmont School of Arts and Craft. Her studio is located at Brazee Street Studios in Cincinnati.
